Your digital presence should support  — not confuse you

Many students feel unsure about how to show up professionally online.

  • feel overwhelmed by websites or tech
  • struggle to present their skills clearly
  • worry about sounding inauthentic or “salesy”

This is normal — and it’s not a personal failure.

Building a professional digital presence is a learnable skill, not something you’re expected to figure out alone.

Whether you want to work for an organisation, freelance, or keep your options open, learning how to present yourself professionally

online is becoming essential.

A well-structured digital presence helps you:

  • communicate your skills with confidence
  • build trust through clarity and examples
  • reduce repetition and uncertainty
  • focus on learning, work, and people — not constant self-explanation

Digital Career Lab supports undergraduate students in building a professional digital presence — step by step, without pressure — while they study

Digital career building

This option gives you the opportunity to create a simple professional presence on our platform — a central place where you can introduce yourself clearly and professionally.

You’ll have a personal page that reflects who you are and how you want to show up, with space for your key links and a clean, structured layout designed to reduce noise and increase clarity

Your page will be presented using one of two simple designs and lightly refined so it reads professionally and confidently. You’ll also receive a digital business card with a QR code, making it easy to share your profile online or in person.

This is a low-pressure way to experience the value of having a professional digital hub beyond social media, and to see how a clear online presence can support your studies, work, or future plans.

Book a conversation and let's see what

Digital Career Lab can do for you.
